Each bar is approximately 2.7 oz and should last at least 50 washes or longer if you have short hair. A little goes a long way.
***It’s very important that you store the bars in an area that allows them to completely dry out between uses. It’s best to use a well draining soap dish like the ones we offer in our shop.
If you intend to use this conditioner bar while traveling, I recommend selecting the travel tin addition in the drop down menu. It’s important to note that you should not store your bar in these if it’s wet since it can turn mushy and not last as long. I recommend taking a few rubber bands with you to put around the tin to make a makeshift soap dish. See the last photo in the slide to see what I mean.
Packaging and shipping are completely plastic free!

ABOUT OUR BARS
What do you mean by “pH balanced?”
When it comes to hair care, “pH balanced” means that a product should test between a pH of 4.5 and 5.5. Hair has a pH of around 5. Using a product that has a pH far out of this range can damage hair over time. A hair product that has too high of a pH will raise the cuticles on your hair strands and leave hair looking dull and much more likely to tangle. Our bars test close to a pH of 5.
What’s wrong with silicones?
Though there’s a great debate about whether silicones are good or bad for hair, we choose not to use them because they’re synthetic polymers that are not biodegradable and it’s not well understood how they effect the environment they accumulate in. Instead we use coco caprylate which comes from coconut oil and has a similar hair feel to silicones.
Why a bar?
When you buy a bottle of conditioner, what you’re mostly getting is water. Bar conditioner is made without water so it’s super condensed. They last much longer and no need for the plastic. Did you know only about 10% of plastic in use ever gets recycled? Every bar is equal to at least one or several bottles of conditioner that you’re saving from a landfill. Plus they’re TSA compliant!
ABOUT OUR INGREDIENTS
Fair Trade Certified Organic Cocoa Butter: Cocoa butter helps to soften hair and gives strands a bit of smoothness and volume.
Certified Organic Babassu Seed Oil: Babassu oil is very similar to coconut oil but is much lighter weight so it won’t weigh your hair down like coconut oil can be prone to.
Certified Organic Jojoba Oil: This oil is not actually an oil! It’s more of a wax ester which is very similar to our skin sebum and helps to moisturize hair without weighing it down.
Coco Caprylate: A natural alternative to silicones! Coco caprylate is made from coconut oil. It’s made up of very small fatty acids which allows it to penetrate the hair shaft in order to moisturize it while not weighing it down.
Honeyquat: Honeyquat is made from honey and there’s nothing like it in it’s ability to moisturize and tame frizz.
Vegekeratin (Wheat Amino Acids, Soy Amino Acids, Arginine HCl, Serine, Threonine): A plant based alternative to animal keratin that helps to increased hair elasticity, strength, and shine.
Provitamin B5: This essential vitamin helps to deeply moisturize, strengthen, smooth, and add shine to hair.
Certified Organic Guar Gum: Guar gum helps to give the bar excellent slip so you can spread it around your hair with ease.
Behentrimonium Methosulfate (BTMS): It sounds scary but it’s made from rapeseed oil and there’s really nothing like it. The name has “sulfate” in it but it’s not anything like the harsh cleansing sulfates usually used in shampoos. This ingredient helps to detangle and deeply condition hair.
RSPO Certified Cetyl Alcohol: Not the “bad” type of alcohol! Cetyl alcohol helps to soften hair and gives the bars their thickness. We source ours from sustainably sourced palm oil.
Preservative Eco (Benzyl Alcohol, Salicylic Acid, Palm Free Glycerin, and Sorbic Acid): Though our bars are made without water, they come into contact with it so they need a preservative. We use this paraben free preservative that meets ecocert and COSMOS standards. Though a preservative is present, it’s still important to store the bars in a way that allows them to completely dry out between uses.
Certified Organic Essential Oils (Lavender, Peppermint, Rosemary, and Lemon): All the best essential oils for your scalp that smell like a springtime meadow!
Certified Organic Nettle Leaf Powder: There’s a reason nettle is widely touted for hair! Nettles are packed with all kinds of nutrients and minerals such as Vitamin B and magnesium.
Naturally Procured Baking Soda: Used to adjust the pH of the bars.

INSTRUCTIONS
First shampoo using our shampoo bar. Conditioner bars do not lather so you’ll need to thoroughly rub the bar from roots to ends. If you have exceptionally curly hair, it may work better to coat your hair with the bar in sections. Massage into hair and scalp and rinse clean. It is very important to store the bar in an area that allows it to completely dry out between uses. It’s best to use a well draining soap dish.

Never tried bar conditioner before. I love it though. Doesn’t leave my hair heavy or greasy like regular conditioner does. It’s great! Will be buying again.

Haven’t tried this yet but if it’s as good as the shampoo it will be a winner.

This is great for my naturally curly hair. Smooth, but not heavy and it smells good. I use it every other day and my hair feels and looks nice. No plastic bottle is a bonus.
